Start with Alignment

My first post in 2024 is about starting. Key to success lies in alignment. This is easily defined in a process relationship. However, when it comes to people, the alignment relationship become more complex. When it comes to people, alignment speaks of commitment to do, willingness to do, and enablement to do. The commitment and willingness is person-driven, but enablement to do lies somewhere else. Enablement lies in credibility, priority, and recognition. Implementation becomes a gamble and a burden when alignment is not affirmed, evaluated, and measured. What has your experience been in reaching the goals where alignment is shaky either in a project or service delivery?
