These five scenarios in the business world have been given many terms which shows their importance and criticality. We seek solutions on how we can survive, even thrive in the uncertain world. Who do we expect will come with the solutions at organisational level? The people 'who are competent'. How and where did these 'competent' people develop this competence from, to deal with these five scenarios in their own lives? Will the needed competences just happen or be cascaded? What are these competencies? Can we give what we don't have? My view is that future competent organisations can only be built and sustained by future ready individuals. One may not be future proof, but staying ready is the call that will make the difference. What is the readiness of individuals in your organisation?
